We applied for Cyber Essentials and IASME certification to ensure we have systems and processes in place to prevent us against cyber threats and to ensure that we are GDPR compliant. The process of assessment was thorough and it made us more aware of our responsibilities in this area. 

The best decision we made in this regard was to engage the Guardian Saints team who in our view are experts in this area.
